Adam Braun '06 is the Founder of Pencils of Promise and the author of The Promise of a Pencil: How an Ordinary Person Can Create Extraordinary Change. After graduating from Brown and working on Wall Street, he put $25 in a bank account in hopes of building one school. His organization has now built over 200 schools globally with more than 20,000 students in their programs.

Here he talks about what it means to be a for-purpose organization (00:07), his personal mantras or "guiding truths" (00:36), how to spark a social movement (1:11), the fear that keeps him up at night (1:52), one of an entrepreneur's biggest challenges (2:34), and his next bold goal (3:28).
